With lots of latest discoveries and inventions on the line doctors are now on the way to develop the flu vaccines. It has been aimed to bring out a flu vaccine by 2009 which can fight against three new influenza viruses.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) supported this mission for production of modified flu vaccines which has already been repeated by World Health Organization (WHO) earlier. As per reports it is an extraordinary decision to produce such a type of vaccine. Earlier it was rare case when a vaccine was able to prevent one or two strains and now it would be going to prevent three influenza strains.

The flu director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Nancy Cox has remarked that they are going to have a much busy schedule ahead for producing such a vaccine and that also in huge amounts. As per Dr. Cox they are also planning for back up situations in case there are some difficulties or contingencies. One of the prime difficulties is caused by the notorious virus Brisbane/10 which has already threatened much of the population. The fact is that the vaccine for this strain takes much time to get produced in the laboratory. Due to this the rate of production will be increased leading to much labor to produce this vaccine as fast as possible before the flu season (fall winter) commences.

Scientists were not able to include this vaccine this year and it has thus already leaded to disaster and so they are trying to include this by 2009.So as per Dr. Cox the makers of the vaccine for the Brisbane/10 virus is now already on the move. CDC remarked that this vaccine will provide a moderate protection to the affected ones and may lead to placid cases.
